Telshor and the Foothills sit on the east side of Las Cruces around Telshor Boulevard and Lohman Avenue, climbing toward the Dripping Springs Road corridor and the Organ Mountains. The area includes established neighborhoods close to the Mesilla Valley Mall and MountainView Regional Medical Center, plus foothill homes and Sedona Hills with long views over the valley.

Homes for sale in Telshor and the Foothills range from single-story ranch and Southwestern homes built from the 1970s through the 1990s to newer custom homes higher up the slope. Stucco exteriors, flat or tile roofs, walled back yards and xeriscaped front yards are typical. As the streets climb east, lots get larger and more homes face the Organ Mountains or look back over the city lights. Townhomes and patio homes near Telshor Boulevard give lower-maintenance options.
Location and Daily Life
This is one of the most convenient parts of Las Cruces for errands. Mesilla Valley Mall, the Lohman Avenue and Telshor Boulevard shopping and restaurant strip, MountainView Regional Medical Center and Memorial Medical Center are all close by. I-25 runs along the west edge, with exits at Lohman Avenue and University Avenue. Dripping Springs Road leads east to the Dripping Springs Natural Area and trailheads in Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument.

Buyers here often compare Sonoma Ranch just to the north, Soledad Canyon & Talavera for more land along Dripping Springs Road, and Las Alturas & South Mesa for hillside lots south of campus.
