Northwest Las Cruces runs from the Elks Drive area and North Valley Road out to the village of Doña Ana, one of the oldest communities in the Mesilla Valley, and Shalem Colony. It mixes established city neighborhoods with irrigated valley land, larger lots and farm properties along the Rio Grande, with quick access to I-25 and US-70.

Homes for sale in Northwest Las Cruces and Doña Ana cover a wide range. Closer to town, the neighborhoods off Elks Drive and North Main Street have ranch-style and Southwestern homes on city lots. Location and Daily Life
North Valley Drive, Doña Ana Road and North Main Street run the length of the area, and I-25 has exits at US-70 and Doña Ana. Shopping and restaurants cluster along North Main Street and near the I-25 and US-70 interchange. The Rio Grande and its levee roads are close for walking, cycling and birdwatching, and the Doña Ana Mountains rise just to the east.

Buyers drawn to valley land also look at Mesilla & Mesilla Park to the south, Radium Springs & Hatch farther up the river, and Picacho Hills across the valley for hillside views.
